Serbian Coeliac Society

The Serbian Coeliac Society was founded in 2005 by a group of mothers with children suffering from coeliac disease. The main motivation was a lack of knowledge about the disease, educational material, advice on the gluten free diet and difficulties in finding safe gluten-free food products. Since then, the association has grown into a national organization that collaborates with associations in the region and Europe. The association also works with doctors, scientists and other experts, as well as the institutions and organizations in the field of food production. The Serbian Coeliac Society has been a Member of AOECS member since 2008. Our goal is to ensure that we live in an educated, well-informed society where early detection and diagnosis of coeliac disease is possible.
